Job summary

Patriots Landing in Dupont, WA is seeking a part-time dishwasher for their Senior Living Community. The role involves rotating shifts, handling daily dishwashing duties, and supporting food service and cleaning operations to ensure a clean, safe dining environment for veterans and their spouses. Willingness to work 4–8 hours, ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic English communication are required.

First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities

• Set up and sanitize dish-cleaning stations.
• Assist with food service delivery to residents.
• Assist with food preparation as needed including washing, cutting, preparing, and cleaning up.
• Receive and stock deliveries.
• Wash dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and equipment after each meal.
• Perform tasks as assigned on a cleaning schedule.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop the kitchen floor, walk-in refrigerator, and dry storage daily.
• Empty and line all trash receptacles as needed.
• Make sure that delivery docks and outside trash bin areas are clean.

Patriots Landing are hiring a full dishwasher for their Senior Living Community in Dupont, WA. Our special community is nestled into the heart of DuPont, bordering JBLM. Our residents are primarily military veterans and spouses that are enjoying a happy retirement among friends they previously served with, or that they have gained by joining our community.

• Part Time
• Rotating shift
• $17.13-$18.00 hourly (DOE)
  

Summary of Responsibilities

Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates, and utensils, loading washing machines, and stacking washed items appropriately. If you want to kickstart your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations, we’d like to meet you. Note that this role requires working in shifts and, occasionally, holidays and/or weekends. Ultimately, you’ll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our residents.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English
• Possess strong oral, written, and telephone skills
• Must have the ability to work on your feet for 4 to 8 hours a day
• Possess knowledge of safe sanitation practices, safety practices, and special diets.
• Must be certified in First Aid and CPR and be capable of meeting all requirements that may be specified by the state or other regulatory agencies.
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
