Job summary

Stellar Senior Living seeks a dedicated Dishwasher for our large senior living community. You will remove soiled dishes, wash and restock items, and assist with room tray preparation and delivery. The role supports a busy dining operation and requires teamwork with care staff.

Job Description

Our dishwashers are in charge of removing soiled plates and flatware from tables during service, washing them thoroughly, wiping down tables, restocking washed items back in the dining room and helping prepare room trays, as well as delivering room trays to rooms. cleaning appliances and machines, emptying trash from all kitchen receptacles and other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware. Wiping down dining room tables.


• Prepare the kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.


• Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.


• Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor 3 times a shift.

Qualifications

• Minimal working experience.


• Strong problem solving and time management skills


• Ability to stand for long period of time and lift at least 20 lbs.


• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures


• Willing to obtain a Food Handlers certificate
