Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties including floors, walls, and racks.
• Follow dishwashing procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Timely delivery of food to kitchens and participation in training programs.
• Adherence to all sanitation and food handling protocols.
• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures of Encore Village and regulatory authorities.
• Maintenance of confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure residents' rights and employee confidentiality are protected.
• Proper personal appearance and hygiene according to established procedures.
• Attendance and participation in in-service training programs.
• Reporting of all hazardous conditions or equipment.
• Clean kitchen floor drains.
• Table and pantry busing.
• Assisting in food preparation as directed.
• Full understanding of sanitation, foodborne illnesses and cross-contamination policies and procedures.
• Good communication skills; must be able to demonstrate effective reading and speaking skills.
• Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends as assigned.
