Job summary

Levy, part of Compass Group, seeks a Dishwasher for Memphis-based events (concerts, Grizzlies games, University of Memphis games). This is a part-time, event-based position at various venues in Memphis.

You will maintain a clean work area, wash dishes, support service teams, and follow safety and sanitation guidelines. English communication is required; a friendly, professional demeanor is expected.

• Outgoing personality is preferred.

SUMMARY

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean work area at all times at his assigned location. The Dishwasher cleans all areas of the facility, understands basic tasks with a sense of urgency in order to provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Follows proper procedures for dishwashing, including but not limited to washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
• Acts with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests.
• Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment.
• Adheres to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook.
• Employs good safety and sanitation.
• Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities.
• Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers.
• Always on time and ready to perform all required duties.
• Helps fellow team members whenever necessary.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet for extended parts of time. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience. The ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
