Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes, washes by hand or uses dishwashing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, trays, and other utensils following procedures.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Follows safety procedures diligently.
• Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to uphold safety standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and maintains waste containers.
• Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
