Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Maplewood/Richmond Heights, MO is hiring a part-time dishwasher. The role runs 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a pay rate of $15.00–$15.80 per hour.

Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required, and duties include washing dishes, pots, pans and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. This position supports an educational facility, with benefits typically offered for part-time staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans and trays per assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine, tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth as needed.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels per standards.
• Keep dish area orderly, sweeping, mopping and cleaning floors, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash, steam clean or hose out garbage cans, transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, help load and unload supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
