Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking a Dishwasher in Las Vegas, NV to support kitchen operations. You will perform dishwashing and cleaning duties, maintain sanitation, and assist with inventory and meal service as directed.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; follow oral and written instructions; and adhere to infection control policies. Training and staff meetings are required.

DISHWASHER

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensure the CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are adhered to at all times.

• Follow established Infection Control and Universal Precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks.

• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures, including but not limited to: cleaning work tables, meat blocks, kitchen equipment, refrigerators/freezers, storerooms, sweep and mop floors, wash, clean and store utensils as directed.

• Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times.

• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies.

• Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining room as instructed.

• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures.

• Remove food trays from carts, dining rooms, etc., and take to dishwashing area.

• Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.

• Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.

• Attend and participate in mandatory training, inservices, and staff meetings.

• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

• Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures.

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.

• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Supervisor.

• Must be able to write, read, speak, and understand the English language.
