Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining seeks a part-time dishwasher at Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama, Honolulu. You will clean and sanitize dishes, pots, and trays, operate or assist with the dish machine, and support kitchen safety and cleanliness during busy morning hours.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, 5:00 am–1:30 pm or 6:00 am–2:30 pm; the role includes free meals, uniforms, and other benefits. Prior experience with a 3-compartment sink and belt-driven dish machine is required, with an emphasis

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with a 3-compartment sink and belt-driven dish machine required.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a part time DISHWASHER position.

Location: Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama - 1887 Makuakane Street, Honolulu, HI 96817. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part time schedule. Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, or 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Further details upon interview.
