Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring for a part-time kitchen support role. Shifts include AM and PM, with responsibilities centered on dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation within the kitchen and dish room.

Ideal candidates are self-starters who can work in a team and handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs, while maintaining a clean, efficient dining area environment.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with initiative and reliability.
• Ability to communicate within an interdisciplinary team.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull and move during shifts, with handling up to 30–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties.
• Wash utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for dining room resets.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen areas per schedules.
• Clean dish room, wash floor mats, drain and clean dishwasher, and shine stainless steel.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and related spaces.

Job Description

Schedule: Part-Time. AM & PM Shifts Available.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• perform necessary responsibility for dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties
• wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for reset of dining room
• clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher and shining stainless steel.
• sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and other areas pertaining to kitchen

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• must be self starter
• must be able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team
• must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours
• must be able to lift, and carry up to 30 lbs. and push or pull up to 40 lbs.
