Job summary

Aramark in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a friendly Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and equipment, support food preparation areas, and help ensure a safe, orderly operation for guests and staff.

Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required as part of a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role offers on-site training and opportunities to grow within Aramark's diverse food and facilities services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and utensils and ensure they are cleaned and sanitized.
• Keep dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas clean.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report issues to management.
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure security of company assets.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
