Job summary

Wegmans in New York is seeking a dishwasher to support kitchen operations by washing dishes, putting away dish loads, and performing other duties, including some food prep.

You will assist with receiving of products, stock rotation, and general kitchen organization and cleanliness while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Wegmans offers comprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to its people.

Qualifications

• Dishwashing experience; Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery or retail setting.
• Light to medium physical work with standing, lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support culinary operations by washing dishes, putting away dish loads and performing other kitchen duties as necessary, including some food prep work
• Assist with receiving of products, stock rotation and general kitchen organization and cleanliness
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area to ensure work gets completed in the most effective and safest way possible
