The role requires basic job training, good time management, and strict adherence to food safety procedures. Candidates should be able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 pounds; a Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate is required.

• Ability to stand or walk for 8–10 hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.

• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
• Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of clean dishes by collecting soiled items and storing them properly.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking stations.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen.
• Keep dish pit area clean and organized.
• Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors and handle spills.
• Take out trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other staff with additional tasks as needed.
• Report kitchen accidents or food safety violations.
• Ensure dining area is ready for opening, closing, and during hours of operation.
• Set up kitchen line for rushes and reset for next day.
