a-staffing-inc's client is a new craft café and bakery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, opening late 2026. This Dishwasher role keeps the kitchen and dining areas clean and running smoothly, handling dishwashing along with inventory and cleaning duties, and is essential to the team.

Full-time position with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM shifts, 2 openings. Pay rate $19.00–$23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. No prior experience required; kitchen or restaurant experience welcome. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a consistent 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Dish & Cookware Washing: Hand-washing and machine-washing dishes, utensils, and pots and pans
• Inventory Checks: Monitoring stock of consumables such as detergents, gloves, and paper goods
• Order Support: Reviewing and supporting supply order lists from the kitchen and floor
• Cleaning: Cleaning kitchen and dining floors, and sorting and removing trash and recycling
• Prep Assistance: Supporting basic prep during busy periods when asked
• Sanitation: Following handwashing and equipment sanitizing standards, and performing first-line pest-prevention checks
