Urban Family Brewing is hiring dishwashers for its Seattle waterfront location. This entry-level role offers a path to kitchen progression, with both full-time and part-time shifts available.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication and teamwork, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to learn sanitation standards. A food handler's permit and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a humid environment.
• Ability to lift and carry racks of dishes and bags of trash.
• Ability to reach, bend and move quickly during peak busy times.
• Current food handler's permit.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operating a commercial dish machine.
• Hand washing pots, pans and equipment.
• Upholding sanitation standards.
• Replenishing chemicals and detergents for the dish machine.
• Assist with food prep and basic kitchen tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and uphold standards.
• Maintain a clean station.
• Manage waste including trash, recycle, compost etc.
