Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a friendly, efficient dishwashing/kitchen support role. Provides service to guests according to policies and standards, and keeps kitchen areas, plates, and utensils clean and ready for use. Reports to the Kitchen Manager or on-duty manager.

Responsibilities include dish room maintenance, stocking, assisting kitchen staff, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards during busy periods. Extended standing and lifting up to 50 pounds required.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation and safety practices can be taught in-house.
• Customer service fundamentals are expected to be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Dish room maintenance and organization.
• Load and operate the dishwasher; stock kitchen and servers.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of stations and work areas.
• Break down boxes, remove trash, and assist with deliveries when required.
• Adhere to uniform and hygiene standards throughout shifts.
