Complete Care at Green Acres is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our kitchen team and ensure clean, sanitary dishware for residents and staff. The role involves basic food prep under supervision, proper equipment cleaning, and maintaining a tidy workspace in compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dishwasher.
• Further customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, collects soiled dishes; washes dishes according to sanitary guidelines and rules.
• Cleans equipment as assigned by chef or cook.
• Help with basic food preparation under direction of chef or cook as directed, in compliance with Safe food handling.
• Maintains dishwashing areas and dishware storage areas in clean condition at all times in accordance with rules and regulations and as directed by chef.
• Cleans workspaces, cooking and serving equipment, trays, and dishes according to department procedures.
• Loads and unloads the dishwasher; stores clean equipment and dishes in designated areas.
• Uses food supplies and equipment in an efficient manner to prevent waste.
• Uses food preparation equipment properly and follows proper cleaning techniques and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Communicates with Chef or Cook throughout the shift as needed to best meet needs of the residents.
• Attends in-service education as assigned and applies information to job tasks.
• Complies with the Community's Confidentiality and Privacy practices and procedures related to resident and employee records and all state/federal privacy laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
