Job summary

Mosaicms in Bend, Oregon is looking for a dependable dishwasher to support our dining services team. You will wash, sanitize, and store dishes and utensils, maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, and help uphold safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds, plus basic food-handling knowledge. Strong teamwork and English communication skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 pounds regularly.
• Prior experience in dining, food service or hospitality preferred.
• Willingness to complete Mosaic and state-mandated training.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing & sanitation.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, kitchen equipment, and food preparation spaces.
• Follow Mosaic's cleaning schedules and sanitation checklists.
• Use proper techniques for handling, washing, and sanitizing kitchen tools in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Return all cleaned dishes to their proper storage locations in a timely manner.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries as directed by the Dining Services Manager or Cook.
• Monitor dishwashing equipment for proper operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
