Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is looking for a dedicated dishwasher to support our dining services. The role involves cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas, and helping maintain sanitary production spaces in a residential care setting.

The position is full-time with competitive hourly compensation and opportunities for benefits as described by Spectrum's program. Training is provided to ensure adherence to cleaning schedules and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must be able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours.
• Must be able to lift, carry up to 30 lbs., and push or pull up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary responsibility for dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties.
• Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for reset of dining room.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher, and shining stainless steel.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas, and other areas pertaining to kitchen.
