Job summary

Assets, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, is seeking a Dishwasher II at the Providence contract site in Anchorage. The role supports kitchen operations by cleaning dishes and assisting with light janitorial tasks.

This full-time position offers 30-40 hours per week, a pay rate of $17.75 per hour, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, a 401k with match, and employer-paid life insurance.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Experience in dishwashing or food service preferred.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and manage racks.
• Sort dishes by type and maintain clean dining areas.
• Perform light janitorial duties and restrooms cleaning.
• Bus tables and stock service areas.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and food sanitation guidelines.
• Complete required food handler training and company trainings.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
