Job summary

Charlotte Country Club is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of dishes, glassware and utensils and to keep the back of house orderly. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available with specific shift times.

Candidates should be able to lift 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a lively environment. The role includes routine cleaning, waste sorting, and support for the kitchen team; pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in upscale or fine dining (preferred).
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and climb stairs daily.
• Noise level in the work environment can be occasionally loud.

Responsibilities

• Sorts dishes, glassware, and utensils in and out of the dishwasher machine.
• Examines garbage for silverware, glassware and dishes.
• Removes garbage.
• Cleans and maintains back of the house by sweeping and mopping floors, scrubbing, polishing, soaking, and sanitizing other areas.
• Performs routine and deep cleaning as needed.
• Responds to spills and breakages promptly.

The Dishwasher at Charlotte Country Club is responsible for washing and properly storing all cooking utensils, equipment, flatware, and glassware.

There are Full-Time & Part-Time roles open for this position.

• Full-Time hours are: Wednesday-Saturday, 3 pm to 11 pm; Sunday, 1 pm to 9 pm

• Part-Time hours are: Friday & Saturday, 3 pm to 11 pm; Sunday, 1 pm to 9 pm

Essential Functions:

• Sorts dishes, glassware, and utensils in and out of the dishwasher machine

• Examines garbage for silverware, glassware and dishes

• Removes garbage

• Cleans and maintain back of the house by sweeping and mopping of floors, scrubbing, polishing, soaking, and sanitizing other areas

• Performs routine and deep cleaning as needed

• Responds to all spills and breakages in an urgent manner
