Unidine is hiring immediately for full time and part time dishwashing positions at Bethesda Village North Retirement Community in Saint Louis, MO. The role ensures dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen spaces are kept clean and sanitary to support a safe dining operation.

The duties include scraping and washing, operating dishwashing equipment as required, maintaining temperatures and chemical levels, keeping work areas orderly, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain sanitation.
• Willingness to work full-time or part-time with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen and work areas in orderly, sanitary condition.
• Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines as assigned.
• Polishes silverware and ensures overall cleanliness and sanitation.
• Keeps dish area orderly and adheres to safety standards.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas and assists with loading/unloading.

• Location: Bethesda Village North Retirement Community - 11160 Village North Drive, Saint Louis, MO 63136.


• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules, 3 - 5 days weekly. Hours and days may vary, including rotating weekends. Further details upon interview.


• Requirement: Prior dishwashing experience preferred.


• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.


• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.


• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.


• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.


• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.


• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.


• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.


• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.


• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.


• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.


• Helps load and unload supplies and product.


• Performs other duties as assigned.
