Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash by hand or in dishwasher, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans and trays according to procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using appropriate equipment and methods to maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keep dish area orderly and in safety compliance.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash prep surfaces, worktables, walls, and refrigerators.
• Remove trash and empty garbage cans; assist with loading/unloading supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

$16.00 to $16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyors for the dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumblers, chemical dips, buffing wheels and hand cloths according to assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food-prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
