Job summary

A food service provider is seeking a full-time or part-time Dishwasher at Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, GA. The position involves scraping, rinsing, and washing dishes, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards. No prior experience is required. Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes by hand or uses dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles disposal.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies.

Overview

Position: DISHWASHER (full-time or part-time). Location: Brewton-Parker College, 201 David-Eliza Fountain Circle, Mount Vernon, GA 30445. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time schedules; Friday through Sunday, 9:00 am – 8:30 pm; Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm – 8:30 pm, and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. On-call. More details upon interview.

Compensation

Pay Range: $8.00 per hour to $9.50 per hour. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures; ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
