Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Coffeyville, KS is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen areas in a clean, sanitary condition. Location: 400 West 11th Street.

This role offers both full-time and part-time positions with a starting wage of $12.00 per hour. No previous experience required, though prior dishwashing is preferred; opportunity to train and grow within a large hospitality team.

Location: 400 West 11th Street, Coffeyville, KS 67337. Salary: $12.00 per hour. Full‑time and part‑time positions available.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, equipment, and kitchen work areas in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment; ensure complete cleanliness.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures; ensure complete cleanliness.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machine, tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth as required; ensure complete cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain temperature and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam‑clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload supplies and products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
