Job summary

Timbers Company is seeking a dishwashing/kitchen support team member to clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans. You will maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition, using a dishwasher or hand washing.

Based at Timbers Kaua'i at Hokūala, you will join a team delivering aloha, anticipatory service, and hospitality in a resort setting on Kaua'i. The role requires standing and walking for shifts, following health and safety standards, and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
• Policies and procedures of the department.
• Customer service principles and practices.
• Correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Inspect kitchens and storerooms to ensure premises and equipment are clean and in order.
• Ensure sufficient foodstuffs and supplies to ensure efficient service.
• Examine incoming purchases for quality and to ensure that purchases are as specified in order.
