Job summary

Morrison Living in Leavenworth, KS is hiring immediately for a full-time dishwasher role. Location: Sisters of Charity facility, with lunch and dinner shifts, 10:30 am–8:30 pm, weekends and holidays rotating. No prior experience required as training is provided.

You will maintain dishes, pots, pans and kitchen areas in a sanitary condition while supporting safety and cleanliness. Benefits include medical coverage, paid vacation after 90 days, and a retirement plan.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse and wash dishes, pots, pans and utensils, by hand or in dishwasher as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dishwashing area and related equipment.
• Polish silverware using burnishing methods and ensure proper sanitation.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain correct temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keep the dish area organized and safe, including floors and surfaces.
• Assist in loading and unloading supplies and product as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth as required. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Comply with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers. Steam‑clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist in loading and unloading supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
