Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles disposal per designated containers; assists in cleaning and sanitizing cans and bins.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time DISHWASHER positions.

Location: Methodist Healthcare Germantown Hospital - 7691 Poplar Avenue, Germantown, TN 38138. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, hours may vary; rotating weekends included. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $15.50 per hour.
