Job summary

Wilson’s Orchard & Farm in Iowa is seeking a full-time dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will wash dishes, glassware, pots, and pans, while helping keep a clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment at the Ciderhouse Restaurant.

We welcome applicants with or without prior kitchen experience and offer training; availability Wed–Sun is preferred. You will contribute to food safety practices and work closely with a cooperative team.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Some kitchen experience preferred.
• Availability Wed–Sun preferred.
• Stand or walk for 8-hour shifts; lift at least 20 pounds.
• Willingness to follow food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots and pans using equipment or by hand.

• Put away dishes in their proper storage areas.

Wilson’s Orchard & Farm is a farm, food, and beverage business with locations in Iowa City and Des Moines. Our mission is to help develop local, ethical and regenerative food and farm systems in our communities.

Our kitchen staff is seeking a full-time dishwasher to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated, organized dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using equipment or by hand.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area; sort and stack clean dishes.
• Put away dishes in clean dishes to proper storage areas.
• General cleaning and sanitation work.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.

Dishwasher Requirements:

• No experience necessary, we're happy to train, but some relevant kitchen work experience is preferred.
• Availability from Wednesday - Sunday is highly preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.
• Good time and task management skills.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
