Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Healthcare, is hiring immediately for a full time DISHWASHER at Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital in Cypress, TX. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in a clean, sanitary condition to support patient meals and hospital operations.

You will work four 10-hour shifts with AM/PM options; prior dishwashing/porter experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.94 per hour with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in dishwashing or porter role preferred.
• Maintain sanitary conditions of dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen areas.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in a machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver and maintains hygiene of work areas and equipment.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops floors; cleans prep surfaces and garbage areas.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas and helps load/unload deliveries.

Job Overview

• We are hiring immediately for full time DISHWASHER positions.
• Location: Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital - 27800 Northwest Freeway, Cypress, TX 77433. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; four 10 hour shifts. Days and hours may vary; AM and PM shifts. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous dishwashing/porter experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $18.94 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
