Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Dishwasher for our Chesapeake location. You will support kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, surfaces, and equipment, while maintaining floors, walls, and storage spaces.

You will help with basic setup and break-down tasks as needed and ensure sanitary standards are met throughout food production areas. The role requires physical stamina and reliable attendance; no prior experience is required, and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies full-time

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
