Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Keeps up with health and safety requirements for food handling.
• Maintains a clean, neat, safe environment for residents and staff.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime.
• CPR/First Aid Certification as required by state regulations.
• Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans using machine or by hand.
• Operate and maintain the dishwashing area and related equipment.
• Replenish supplies and assist in clearing and resetting dining areas as needed.
• Monitor sanitizer levels and document dish machine temperatures.
• Assist cooks with serving and plating meals when required.
• Attend required meetings and trainings and apply learnings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
