Sodexo is hiring a Dishwasher at Central Oregon Community College in Bend, Oregon. The role supports kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks. This full-time position offers varying shifts, some weekends/holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic food safety concepts.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using specified sanitizing chemicals.
• Re-stocks supplies like soap, towels and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or mobility required.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods, up to and beyond 8 hours.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attends shifts on time; other duties may be assigned per account needs.
