Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing experience preferred.
• Able to operate dish machine to company and manufacturer specifications.
• Manual dexterity to quickly load and unload items.
• Strong team-work orientation, with ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Able to work a part-time, flexible schedule that varies according to business need; evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete and pass required training modules – both initial and ongoing.
• Know the weekly work schedule, arrive on time, maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef about nightly specials, guest flow, banquets or events.
• Set up station and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Scrap, sort, and load dishes to be washed; wash by machine and by hand as needed.
• Place clean dishes and utensils in designated stocking areas.
• Break down and sanitize the dish machine at shift end.
• Keep dish and storage areas clean, safe, and well-organized; assist with kitchen cleaning.
• Sort and remove trash; clean and sanitize trash cans and dumpster areas.
• Powers wash floor mats; assist with floor cleaning as needed.
• Assist with spot cleaning of surfaces throughout the building.
• Assist with storing stock items and supplies.
• Clean and perform routine exterior maintenance per schedule.
• Demonstrate teamwork and attend meetings; communicate requests or ideas to Managers.
• Follow company policies, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
