Job summary

Chesapeake's West Knoxville is hiring a Dishwasher to join our fast-paced team. You will wash and organize dishes, operate dishwashing equipment, and help keep the kitchen clean and efficient. This role supports the kitchen and dining team to ensure a great guest experience.

We value dependable, team-oriented individuals who can handle a bustling restaurant setting. Prior dishwashing experience is a plus, but not required, and all training is provided.

Qualifications

• Dependable and ready to work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help others.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance.
• Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep the dish area, kitchen, and workspaces clean and organized.
• Prioritize dishes and cookware to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Assist with general cleaning and sanitation throughout the restaurant.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
• Work alongside the kitchen team to help wherever needed.
