Job summary

Kindred Restaurant in Davidson, NC is seeking reliable dishwashers to join the back-of-house team. You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain a clean dish pit, and support kitchen staff during fast-paced service.

Qualifications

• Previous dish or kitchen experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized dish pit and ensure a steady supply of clean items throughout service.
• Properly store and stack clean dishware and equipment.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep and cleaning duties as needed.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and drains.
• Follow all health department and food safety guidelines for sanitation.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to anticipate needs during high-volume service.
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining a fast-paced, organized workflow.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team during high-volume, fast-paced shifts.
