Job summary

Momofuku's Super Peach by Momofuku in Westfield Century City, Los Angeles, is hiring a Dishwasher to help the back of house maintain a smooth service flow.

You will wash dishes and equipment, maintain cleanliness, follow safety practices, and assist with basic prep as needed. This entry-level role offers $18.42/hour plus gratuity, with competitive benefits package and growth opportunities within the Momofuku family.

Qualifications

• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work in wet floors, extreme temperatures and loud noise.
• Remain calm under pressure.
• Willing to accept guidance and implement direction productively.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods.
• 2+ years of experience as a Dishwasher or similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash all dishes and cooking equipment in a timely manner during and between restaurant services.
• Clean cooking stations and equipment to help expedite service.
• Follow warning labels, directions, and food safety procedures.
• Clean and maintain front of house areas if requested by supervisor.
• Maintain open and effective communication with back of house team and front of house team.
• Uphold a high standard of cleanliness of back of house areas including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas.
• Participate in deep cleaning of back of house areas including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas.
• Assist in other back of house areas as needed including basic food prep and storage of deliveries.
• Support team members and foster a positive work environment.
• Take out trash and recycling.
