Champa Thai and Sushi Restaurant in Raleigh is seeking a hardworking dishwasher to join our team at Brier Creek Commons. This full-time, in-person role involves operating and maintaining the dish machine, cleaning dishware, and keeping the dishroom orderly.

You will work with the kitchen team to ensure sanitary prep areas and supplies are stocked. The position offers a starting pay of $14.00 per hour and requires reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
• Be able to working in a standing position.
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks.
• Have positive attitude.
• Work well with others and be able to follow instruction.

Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemicals to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep dishroom clean and organized.
• Sweeping, mopping and scrubbing of floors.
• Bag and haul trash and recycling to dumpster.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
