Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current Food Handler’s certification required.
• Experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus.
• Experience cleaning a commercial kitchen is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Hand wash delicate items or those that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
• Empty trash bins regularly and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Assist kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware in their designated storage areas.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures, utilizing necessary protective gear.
• Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including local health regulations.
• Foster a guest-focused environment, delivering outstanding hospitality.
