Job summary

Motor City Seafood Company LLC in Highland Park, Michigan is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Janitor to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our seafood processing facility, including dishwashing, restroom and office cleaning, and overall upkeep.

The position is full-time, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm with weekend availability required. Starting wage is $18 per hour plus benefits after probation and employee discounts on seafood products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience as a dishwasher in a fast-paced environment, preferably in food processing or commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of proper dishwashing techniques and safety/sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the facility and dishwashing area.
• Clean and sanitize containers, utensils, and equipment; ensure proper storage.
• Open and close duties for dishwashing and cleaning areas as assigned.
• Follow safety guidelines and assist processing staff as needed.
