Job summary

Xperience Restaurant Group is hiring a Dishwasher to uphold top sanitation and operational standards in our busy kitchen. You will set up and clean equipment, wash dishes, and maintain a clean dish room and kitchen areas.

Hours are varied; seek individuals 18+ with a valid US work eligibility, driver’s license, and a strong focus on safety and sanitation. This is a frontline role integral to guest satisfaction and smooth service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the assigned area to meet federal, state and local standards.
• Set up, operate and clean kitchen machinery/equipment and store properly.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas, dish room, and kitchen areas as applicable.
• Scrape and spray ware before placing in the dishwashing area.
• Rack china and glassware according to dish room standards.
• Ensure ware is clean and sanitary before removal.
• Take out trash as needed and keep floors clean and dry.
• Move and arrange equipment and furniture as directed by management.
• Comply with safety and health department procedures and liquor laws.
• Maintain overall workstation neatness and orderly presentation.

Compensation Range: $18.42- $18.00/Hour

PURPOSE

The Dishwashers responsibility is to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout their assigned area of responsibility.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain highest level possible of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, which will meet or exceed Federal, State, and Local standards
• Set-up, operate and clean all kitchen machinery/equipment properly and safely and store it in its proper place
• Clean and sanitize food service, preparation ware, dish room, pot room and kitchen areas in restaurants where applicable
• Scrape/spray all ware before placing in ware-washing machine
• Rack all china and glassware according to dish room standards
• Ensure all ware is clean and sanitary before removing from dish room areas
• Take out trash as needed
• Sweep all debris from the floor and maintain the floor dry and free of spills
• Separate all ware and store properly in designated areas
• Maintain equipment quality thru preventative maintenance and cleaning
• Attention to detail on areas of grease, grime, proper storage, stacking heights, chemical usage and storage, etc.
• Assist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage produc
• Maintain the workstation in a neat and orderly fashion

• Ensure complete and proper check out procedures
• Clean all spills immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles
• Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident
• Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed
• Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to management immediately
• Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned
