Job summary

Vinsetta Garage in Berkley, MI is seeking a dish and general utility associate to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of china, glassware, utensils and related areas in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will operate a dish machine, hand wash pots and pans, take out trash, set up and break down the station, and help keep the restaurant safely clean and compliant.

The role requires reading chemical labels, following safety procedures, and staying professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils for the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes; transport to storage and prep areas; rewash as needed.
• Change dishwater in the machine every hour.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster and maintain station.
• Set up and break down the dishwashing area; clean floors and mats.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions; ensure safety standards.
• Notify management if dish machine temps fall below safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
