HHS is seeking a friendly, reliable team member to join the hospital culinary staff as a Dishwasher/Cleaner at Marquette General Hospital. You will help keep the hospital cafeteria clean and organized, support food service, and work across day, evening, and night shifts.

Wage starts at 14.50 USD/hour for dishwashing and up to 16.00 USD/hour for cleaning, with full-time and part-time positions available. A background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare, dishwasher, housekeeping, janitor, custodian).

Responsabilités

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen for the hospital cafeteria.
• Sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and equipment in a timely manner.
• Support stocking and inventories by shelving and organizing delivered food.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas.
• Monitor and empty trash cans.
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
