Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support the culinary team in maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and organized equipment. You will stock supplies, help foster a positive atmosphere with coworkers and customers, and perform routine cleaning tasks to meet service standards.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility with peak hours. Training and compliance with state sanitation regulations are expected; prior restaurant

Qualifications

• Awareness of Health & Safety regarding chemicals and safe methods of working.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations regarding chemicals and safe working methods.
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Capability to perform manual tasks, including carrying heavy bundles of linen and operating heavy floor cleaning machinery.
• Maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
• Willingness to undertake training courses and meet required standards.
• Flexibility with working hours, especially during peak service hours.
• Proven experience as a cleaner.
• Proficient in handling heavy equipment and machinery.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties to required standards and service levels.
• Perform general cleaning duties to required standards and service levels.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
• Move furniture as needed on occasion.
• Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceilings vents and restrooms.
• Conduct and document routine inspections and maintenance activities.
• Execute heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain the cleanliness of fixtures and fittings as required.
