Job summary

The Hacienda Mission San Luis Rey is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and cookware.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing items, keeping the dish area organized, disposing of waste, and assisting with basic food prep while following safety guidelines.

This on-site role in Oceanside offers a supportive team environment, bi-weekly pay at $18.00 per hour, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a dishwasher or similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen workspaces.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly and keep dumpster area clean.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen cleaning duties as required.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic work environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to management promptly.
