Job summary

tujorg-ihop in Smyrna, Georgia is looking for a Dishwasher Busser to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. You will be supported by an enriching training program aimed at providing excellent service. Benefits include paid time off, competitive pay, and health insurance after eligibility.

You will primarily ensure that kitchen work areas and equipment are clean while assisting with some prep duties as needed. Strong communication skills and physical stamina are key to succeeding in this role.

• Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours and carry objects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
• Scrape and pre-rinse food from dirty dishes and load them into the dishwasher.
• Wash pots and pans either by hand or using the dishwasher.
• Dispose of trash and garbage in the designated dumpster area.
• Clean work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment, and floors.
• Ensure guest tables and areas are cleaned according to sanitation standards.

DISHWASHER BUSSER

We start our Dishwasher/Busser at $10/hour and up, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.
• Scrape and pre-rinse food from dirty dishes and load them into the dishwasher.
• Wash pots and pans either by hand or using the dishwasher.
• Dispose of trash and garbage in the designated dumpster area.
• Clean work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment, and floors.
• Ensure guest tables and areas are cleaned according to sanitation and housekeeping standards.
• May assist with some Prep Cook duties as trained and assigned.
