El Capitan Canyon is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team at the Santa Barbara, CA location. This role focuses on keeping the dishwashing area clean and efficient, supporting the kitchen during peak times, and helping maintain a premium guest experience in a rustic resort setting.

On-the-job training is provided, with an emphasis on teamwork, safety, and attention to detail. The position is based on-site and offers weekend/holiday shift flexibility to fit restaurant needs.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (AM/PM).

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Support the kitchen team during peak times to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or manager.
