Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Virginia Beach is seeking a dishwasher to support our kitchen team by washing dishes, putting away loads, and assisting with light food prep to keep operations smooth. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized dishwashing area and contribute to a safe, efficient environment.

Our kitchens depend on the teams who work to keep the operation running smoothly. As a dishwasher, you will help to ensure the kitchen staff has clean dishes and supplies needed to prepare our unique culinary offerings. What will I do?

• Support culinary operations by washing dishes, putting away dish loads and performing other kitchen duties as necessary, including some food prep work
• Assist with receiving of products, stock rotation and general kitchen organization and cleanliness
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area to ensure work gets completed in the most effective and safest way possible
