Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in our kitchen and dining areas within a long-term care facility. You will support a safe, sanitary environment and provide friendly service to residents and staff.

This entry-level role offers on-site work, eligibility for benefits, and training. Pay starts at $16 per hour, with opportunities to grow through hands-on training and career development within HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Offered salary rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
