Island Hospitality is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure safety and cleanliness standards while efficiently cleaning dishware, drinkware, and supplies for hotel meal services. The role may require flexible scheduling to support guest needs.

You will wash, sanitize, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow sanitation checklists. The position emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.

Description

As a Dishwasher , you will be responsible for ensuring all safety and cleanliness standards are met while efficiently cleaning all dishware, drinkware, and other necessary supplies for the meal services provided throughout the hotel.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements:

• Wash and sanitize all dishes and kitchen supplies at the hotel
• Clean and sanitize countertops and floors after each shift
• Comply with standards as outlined in food and dish sanitation checklists

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to use all dishwashing equipment provided and required in the hotel kitchen
• Ability to understand and execute all required safety procedures
• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
• Ability to work well in stressful situations
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
