Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Ballard in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Living Dishwasher to support our kitchen team and ensure clean, well-maintained dining areas for residents and guests.

You will wash dishes, assist cooks, and follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules while complying with food safety procedures. Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Our Dishwashers are responsible for:

• Washing all dishes and assisting cooks in preparation of breakfast, lunch, or dinner meals.
• Complete all cleaning duties on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule.
• Handle all food, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with federal, state and local procedures.

If you are someone with:

• Food Handler’s Permit as required
• Flexibility with schedule and availability to work early morning and evening shifts as well as weekends and holidays

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of materials up to 50 lbs. Regular bending, lifting, and reaching are also part of daily responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
